| Description: | Join the Society for Criminal Justice Reform for our Spring Semester Panel moderated by Judge Denise Hartsfield! We will host Sheriff Bobby Kimbrough of Forsyth County, Chief William Penn of the Winston-Salem Police Department, and Interim Chief Curtis Cheeks of the High Point Police Department. The three will discuss the development of policing in the Triad area, police leadership goals, and police interactions with juvenile deterrence. This will be an excellent opportunity for law students to hear about the enforcement prong of the criminal justice system that many students in law school will only read about in cases. Food will be supplied for all those who attend. We hope to see you there! |
