Over this last summer, Professor Virgil visited the United States-Mexico border to help work with migrant children seeking asylum in the United States. Professor Virgil will be discussing over this lunch & learn the impact of our modern immigration laws on the situation at the border, how the Northern Triangle region of Central America plays a pivotal role, and the stories of these children he worked with. This event will be co-sponsored with LLSA, and there will be food provided! |
