Tabling in the commons to get signatures to fight against anti-LGBTQ legislation being proposed in NC. There are several pieces of legislation currently being considered that would greatly endanger the lives of young queer and transgender individuals across the state, including one that would require teachers to non-consensually reveal a child's sexual orientation or gender identity to the child's parents and one that makes it illegal for medical professionals to provide gender-affirming hormone treatments or procedures to transgender minors. |
