Career Opportunities in Tax Law

Description: Join Professor Robert R. Wootton of Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law for a discussion of the wide variety of career opportunities in tax, ranging from private practice in law or accounting firms, to government service with the IRS or the Justice Department, and even to academia. Professor Wootton was the Tax Legislative Counsel of the U.S. Treasury Department and practiced tax law in the Sidley Austin law firm in Chicago and Washington D.C. for over 25 years. He now teaches in the LLM Tax Program at Northwestern Pritzker Law. His presentation will be especially valuable for any student who is considering an LLM in tax. 1Ls, 2Ls and 3Ls are all encouraged to attend.
