Call For Justice: The Story of Kalvin Michael Smith

Date: Wednesday, February 17, 2016
Time: 11:00 am
Description: Stephen Boyd of the WFU religion department and the Rev. Kelly P. Carpenter of Green Street United Methodist Church will be co-telling the story of Kalvin Michael Smith, who has served 18 years in prison for a crime that closely parallels that of Darryl Hunt, a Winston-Salem man who was exonerated by DNA evidence after 18 years in prison himself. Join them to learn about the case, ask questions and find out how you can join others in calling the Attorney General of North Carolina, Roy Cooper, to look into the case.
