Dean Cardi will lead a discussion with students regarding tentative recommendations that the task force has developed to take to the faculty: 1) Modifications to upper-class distributional requirements for classes with less than 35 students taking the class for a grade; 2) Expanding the number of pass/fail credits a student can take for graduation; 3) Modifying rankings process - 1Ls will receive rankings only 2nd semester; upper classes receive ordinal ranking for only top 10% with the remainder receiving percentile rankings (25%, 33% and 50%); 4) Modifications to Latin honors awarded at graduation. |
