Journal of Law & Policy Symposium

Date: Friday, March 18, 2016
Time: 9:30 AM - 3:15 PM
Description: The Wake Forest Journal of Law & Policy hosts its Spring 2016 symposium, "Held Hostage: Government Regulation in an Age of Political Gridlock." This symposium examines the future of government regulation in times of political gridlock. What role does (and can) the law play in shaping and responding to that future? What is the interaction between government regulation and political gridlock? Can we look to the past to shape the future? Will economic theory lend a hand to the problem? Should we look to another means of enforcement besides regulation? These are among the many lines of inquiry that the Wake Forest Journal of Law & Policy seeks to explore. This year's symposium will feature roundtable discussions to encourage interaction and scholarship between the speakers and symposium participants.
This will provide 3.5 CLE hours in person or through the webcast.
