| Description: | WFU's Center for Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship is featuring a panel discussion co-sponsored by the law school on how to move from concept to company. Speakers include a successful CEO of a Raleigh based company, financial and strategic venture investors, and an attorney specializing in investment deals, who all participated in recently announced $8 million financing. They will address these key questions and a number of others: What key ingredients distinguish companies that secure venture funding? How do entrepreneurs navigate the challenging steps to viability and financial success? What do investors look for when deciding whether or not to finance a concept? What key points are negotiated in these deals? |
