Description: | OUTLaw is hosting its Inaugural Advocacy & Awareness Dinner at the Millennium Center in Winston-Salem. Our keynote speaker is distinguished Wake Forest Law alumnus Christopher Barron ('00), founder of GOProud. Tickets are on sale now for $60. Visit http://outlaw.law.wfu.edu/files/2015/03/OUTLaw-Dinner-Individual-Ticket-Order-Form.pdf to purchase. Faculty/Staff tickets can be requested through Sonya Casstevens, and student tickets go on sale April 1. Dinner, dessert, beer and wine are included, and there will also be a cash bar. This money is used throughout the year to fund speakers, panels, social events, political action and other activities that educate the law school community about LGBTQ issues. The first project OUTLaw intends to implement is an annual summer grant for a law student to work with an LGBTQ public interest organization. |
