This Expungement Clinic is in conjunction with the new Pro Bono Project: Ban the Box. The clinic is one way Ban the Box is working to generate interest among the community in support of its mission to ban the criminal background inquiry at the first stage of employment applications. Students will gain practical experience as they work with real clients on expungement applications. In addition, students will have the opportunity to work in tandem with local supervising attorneys. Pro Bono Project Ban the Box will have an Expungement Clinic at Green Street Church, located at 639 South Green St., Winston-Salem, N.C. The church phone number is 336.722.8379. |
