| Description: | Legal Aid of North Carolina seeks volunteers to help individuals understand and enroll in the new health insurance options made available by the Affordable Care Act. This is a great opportunity to educate and assist North Carolinians in getting the healthcare coverage they need. What will a Healthcare Navigator do? Provide one-on-one assistance to help consumers; understand the options for health insurance in the North Carolina Marketplace; successfully enroll in a health insurance plan; and determine if residents are eligible for financial assistance to pay for health insurance.
