This will be a discussion about the 1974-75 case of a young Black woman charged with the murder of a jailer. A public conversation on the history, memory, and continuing legacy of the Joan Little case and the movement it inspired featuring distinguished legal historian Genna Rae McNeil and pioneering jurist Karen Bethea-Shields.
