Girl Scout Mock Trial by Women in Law

Date: Wednesday, March 15, 2023
Time: 6:00 - 9:00 PM
Description: Girl Scout Mock Trial is a program started by the Women in Law Organization at Wake Forest School of Law. We will have four evenings of training sessions before the final trial on the last night. At these training sessions we will teach your children the fundamentals of trial practice such as opening and closing statements, examining a witness, rules of evidence, and creating arguments. The girls will have the chance to argue a real case at the final trial in front of a judge using these trial skills they will learn. They will gain valuable feedback and be able to grow their connections with law students and lawyers in their community. Successful completion of this program will get them a Girl Scout patch or pin!
