9/11 Climb to Remember Event

| Description: | Every year, WFU's Military Science Department hosts a public event in remembrance of September 11, 2001. The Winston-Salem Community is invited to come out and participate in climbing 2,997 steps which represents the lives of families, friends and loved ones that were lost during the tragic attacks on 9/11. This is a significant event that attracts Wake students, veterans, and service members (Local Police, Firefighters, Military) along with local Civilian Patriots. It is a great opportunity to show remembrance and comradery and get some exercise at the same time! |
