Wondering what a journal is, what it does, and why we do this thing called the write-on? FGLS is hosting the incoming editors-in-chief of the three journals. This will be a moderated, informal Q&A that will give 1Ls a chance to learn about law journals in general and each of Wake's three journals in particular. Questions we will address include: What is a law journal? What are the differences between each of the journals at Wake? What do staff on a law journal do? What do editors on a law journal do? Why are law journals important? Who would benefit from experience serving on a law journal? Who may not get as many benefits out of the experience? Are there any particular benefits to law journal membership that students should know about? How would each journal describe its mission? |
