|Wake Forest Law received a grant from the Association of Legal Writing Directors to host a visiting distinguished scholar, Melissa Weresh of Drake University Law School. Professor Weresh, who received her undergraduate degree summa cum laude from Wake Forest, has chaired the AALS section on Teaching Methods and has served as President of the Legal Writing Institute. Professor Weresh will lead a discussion for our faculty based on her widely acclaimed article, "Malleability as a Threshold Concept." This discussion is designed not just for LAWR faculty, but for the broader law faculty, as it touches on the very foundations of our efforts to educate our students well. Students are also welcome. Light refreshments will be available.
