Wake Forest School of Law will host oral arguments for the North Carolina Court of Appeals. The panel will consist of Judge Richard Dietz, Judge John Tyson, and Judge John Arrowood. The Court will hear arguments in one criminal and one civil case: State v. Applewhite, COA 20-610, and Cedarbrook Residential Ctr, Inc. v. N.C.D.H.H.S., COA 21-194. Following the arguments, there will be a reception in the Commons. The judges' clerks, several of whom are WFU Law alums, will also be present, so this will be an excellent opportunity to network! Please mark your calendars now for this exciting opportunity. We would love to fill 1312 as we welcome the Court back to Wake Law after a Covid hiatus last year! Please remember that all electronics must be turned off before entering the courtroom. |
