Professor Emily Benfer will discuss the New America Foundation's upcoming report, "Displaced in America: From Emergency Relief to Transformative Change." This discussion will cover the drivers and effects of housing loss in the U.S. with a particular emphasis on what the COVID-19 crisis means for evictions. The Wake Forest Law Environmental Law and Policy Clinic partnered with the New America Foundation, Professor Sherri Lawson-Clark in Wake Forest University's Anthropology Department, and the Center for the Study of Economic Mobility at Winston-Salem State University.
