The Health of American Democracy: Re-examining the State of Voting Rights on the 100th Anniversary of the 19th Amendment

Description: In commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the 19th Amendment's ratification, the Wake Forest Journal of Law and Policy is proud to present a day-long symposium reevaluating and re-examining the current state of voting rights throughout the United States. Within the broader topic of voting rights, specific issues to be discussed will be administrative attempts to alleviate voter suppression, alternatives to alleviate gerrymandering in light of recent Supreme Court decisions, and North Carolina's role in recent electoral malapportionment litigation.
