'Me Too' Movement: An Evening with Tarana Burke

Description: Wake Forest Law, the Women's Center and other partners are bringing Tarana Burke, founder of the "me too" movement, to Wake Forest University. In April, Burke was featured on the cover of TIME magazine for its "100 Most Influential People" issue. Her work shaping the culture-changing #metoo moment grows out of decades-long activism supporting women and girls of color who have survived sexual abuse and assault. Burke's visit to Wake Forest is sure to garner interest from across campus as well as the local community. Tickets are free but encouraged and can be found at
