Faith in the Halls of Power: One Christian's Perspective on Supreme Court Nominations and Navigating the Beltway. Tim Goeglein, Vice President of Government Relations at Focus on the Family in Washington, DC, will discuss his 18 years working at senior level positions at The White House and in the United States Senate. Goeglein will share his perspective as a Christian, and particularly how his faith has helped him navigate the many ups and downs of his own and our national life with a special emphasis on his work in the nomination and confirmation process of Supreme Court and federal court nominees. He is the author of the memoir "The Man in the Middle: Faith and Politics in the George W. Bush Era." |
