This event is being rescheduled. Date and time TBD in September, 2015. Wake Forest University School of Law's Community Law and Business Clinic will present: "The Law of Raising Money." We will discuss: Common methods of raising capital The State and Federal laws governing the offer and sale of investment securities Recent and proposed changes to securities laws, including the State and Federal JOBS Acts Roles and responsibilities of financial intermediaries The impact of the violation of securities laws on the issuing business. The presentation will take place in the Innovation Quarter Court at Flywheel. Admission is free. Please feel free to bring along your lunch.
