The Federalist Society presents the Role of Executive Power in the United States

Description: The Federalist Society is proud to welcome Dr. John Baker, Visiting Professor of Law at Georgetown University Law Center and Professor Emeritus of Law at Louisiana State University Law School, to the Wake Forest University School of Law. Dr. Baker will speak on the role of executive power in the United States.

Dr. Baker 's areas of interest are Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Anti-Terrorism Law, International Law, Health Care Law, Mediation, and Comparative Law. In addition to numerous law review articles and book chapters, Dr. Baker wrote both Hall's Criminal Law: Cases and Materials (with Benson, Force and George; 5th ed. Michie, 1993) and An Introduction to the Law of the United States (ed. with Levasseur; University Press of America, 1992).

The presentation will last one hour, including a brief question and answer period after Dr. Baker's speech. A light reception will follow the presentation. All Wake Forest faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend.
