LL.M. Lunch and Learn - Sharia Law: Past & Present

Date: Tuesday, November 5, 2013
Time: 12:00 - 1:00 PM
Description: Join us for an LL.M. Lunch & Learn titled "Sharia Law-Past & Present." Our distinguished scholars from the LL.M. class of 2014 will discuss Shariah law and give some examples of its use in today's world. Mr. Ahmed Aldibasi and Mr. Alaa Marghalani will discuss Sharia Law in Saudi Arabia and Mr. Aboubakar Ousman will discuss Sharia Law in Chad.

What are the LL.M. Lunch 'N' Learn presentations about?

Each year the Master of Laws (LL.M.) in American Law program brings a new group of diverse, distinguished law students and attorneys from around the world to WFU School of Law. While they are here to learn about the American law system, we in exchange learn a great deal about their various legal systems and cultures. One of the ways we do this is by organizing a series of "LL.M. Lunch 'N Learn" presentations where our students speak about various law issues in their home countries.
